Land Between the Rivers recognized in the History category of the 2026 Georgia Author of the Year Awards.
McRAE-HELENA, GEORGIA — Pineridge Press is pleased to announce that The History of Telfair County Volume One: Land Between the Rivers by Hart Mizell has been named a 2026 Georgia Author of the Year Awards nominee in the History category.
The nomination was announced this month by Georgia Writers as part of the 2026 awards list. Land Between the Rivers is the first volume in The History of Telfair County, Georgia series and offers a carefully researched account of the people, places, and forces that shaped South Georgia.
